Mayor & Mayoress are at the Teddy Bear Shop
On Sunday 4th March Josephine and I walked across the road from the Guildhall to “Alice’s Bear Shop' in the most unforgiving weather you can imagine.This was the reopening of the shop, after extensive refurbishment, and many people braved the weather to support Rikey, friends and family on this occasion. We were met by the hostess with a glass of wine and a wonderful display of Teddy Bears. The one in the photo to the left of the Mayoress was very over weight! We opened the shop by cutting the ribbon and after an enjoyable hour left with pooh and tigger as a gift and the purchase of an Alice bear.
