On the 1st March I attended the opening of the scheme that has enabled he Town Mill to harness the renewable energy of the River Lim to produce 'green' electricity for the mill and for the national grid ,whilst still retaining the mill's traditional function of producing stone-ground flour with water power. This is the day a young lady will remember pressing the button to start the Hydro Electric Scheme. Also the young people who lifted the gates and let the water through.
