On the 1st March I attended the opening of the scheme that has enabled he Town Mill to harness the renewable energy of the River Lim to produce 'green' electricity for the mill and for the national grid ,whilst still retaining the mill's traditional function of producing stone-ground flour with water power. For more information on the Mill http://www.townmill.org.uk/
I am getting my hand in by interviewing the vice-chairman of WDDC at this function with Nomad of Lyme Regis Radio.
This is the day a young lady will remember pressing the button to start the Hydro Electric Scheme. Also the young people who lifted the gates and let the water through.
